Any chance I could speak with you either over the phone or email? I am doing a similar project, but not for a dissertation and would like to explain further on my project if you had some time.

Also too, when trying to load a file on the gesture list, an exception is produced:
{"Object reference not set to an instance of an object."}
It has to do with button8 and it seems as if it could be a path issue.

Furthermore thank you for reporting this problem I tried to reproduce it on my pc and 2 other pc but I couldn’t. I improve the way I read the files but I do not know if it will fix the problem. Can you try it please, also can you send me the pose and gesture files you use to check it on my pc.

Okay, if you want to wait that's not a huge issue I guess.
I will try the new version when I get in to work tomorrow. I don't have the kinect at home. Also too, I decompiled your source and noticed there are a few funny programming techniques in there. In any case, tomorrow I'll look through it with a fine comb and see if there is any further info as to why its crashing and I'll let you know.
